i’m not a professional but phosperessent material? usually provides only little light energy, it would be much more efficient to store the energy with a battery or in form of warm water

Can somebody tell me, is it possible? to get light energy at night with phosperessent material adjacent to the panel?

I can’t tell you which model tv’s use the correct lense , but I ordered one online from a science and surplus company? and got a VERY good lense that was about 36X 48 or there abouts, while they are fragile they are a very good quality and produce enough heat to melt stone. I was able to boil a gal. of water in somewhere around 4 min. in a blackened receiver . I think that it was a better quality than you may get from an old tv and cost $ 125 with shipping. if you have old tv.s why not butcher 1?

You say the old rear projection TV’s have fresnel lenses? Where at in the TV? How? old are the TV sets you mention? I have 2 older sets in the house here.

I don’t think “looking into” a fresnel lense? of solar concentrator is a very smart idea.
Joking aside, it’d be really cool for someone to try making a solar concentrator out of a fresnel lense and post a vid of it on youtube.

Have you looked into fresnel lenses? they seem to be a faster way to concentrate the same amount of energy. you can? get them from old rear projection tv’s and over head projectors and also on line . I’ve made large radar dishes into concentrators but they are bulky and harder to handle as compared to fresnel lenses. And also harder to keep clean with out scratching I’ve found.

hard to see what’s going on in the? video…but I know you are on the right track.
Im building a solarconcentrator out here in the SW Texas desert at my sustainable living field laboratory…I will subscribe to your channel to see how things progress….check out my videos.
Cheers…
